V8-300tdi fuel tank and pumps/sender

Hello one and all,

I'm drawing to end of my V8 to 300 tdi engine swaps and I need a little help regarding the fuel tanks.

Can I just stick the diesel into the old tank? It has been cleaned out etc.

Also connecting the lines up to the tilter and pump, I take it the 2 lines out of the tank are flow and return pipes?

Any confirmation of this would be great.

Yes, you can safley put Derv into a petrol tank but not the other way around.
