Well put it like this, I whipped the engine and box out of a scrapper recently and as you can imagine the suspension shot up to the end of it's travel.  You could play a tune on the brake pipes!
If you beach the car so the front wheels droop or on a lifted car in severe articulation you are going to be able to overstretch the pipes.

I bought mine from Matt Savage I think, I bought them +3" at no extra cost in Goodridge stainless hose, with limited warranty.  I think I paid about £75 incl postage, bit of a price I know but not the place to skimp I think.

See you have +2" dampers, if that's 2" on the piston and the tube you've nearer 4" extra travel, but the axle alone is heavy enough to wreck the standard pipes in droop travel.
