Its also worth thinking about how easy it will be for the kid to learn the spelling of their name, and how teachers will pronounce it.
Hemione for instance, and Catriona are both so mispronounced it must annoy the crap out of them!
I have it a bit with my Daughter who is Ciara, we get "Kara" "Ceeara" and all sorts, whereas its a simple "ceera"
If mine had been a boy then he would have been William George Macfarlane but being a girl is Ciara Louise Macfarlane
I know a Michael Hunt, I was in the leisure centre the other week when a female friend came to me asking if I had seen Mike Hunt as she had been told he was here, I was wetting myself!! (then got a slap from her!) :oops:

I can save you some time on that. I'd suggest that Adolf, Benito, Pol, Idi, Josef may not be good choices.
You could call the youngling "Boobs wobble". They would hate you for the rest of their life, but imagine the fun you would have in the park, when the child runs off and you start shouting their name!
Ah, sleep deprivation! It numbs the mind and is cheaper than alcohol. :P

Or you could give them a Chinese name like Oi Yu. That sounds great when shouted!
