Discovery 3.9 V8 . Timing chain or Cambelt

Hello , I have a 1998 3.9 V8 Discovery could someone please tell me if it's got a Timing Chain ? or Cambelt ? And whichever it is when does it need changing  , Many thanks ..

Range Rover Blues:
The Rover V8 has a chain.  It's not the best chain in the world and if you even thinking about it then chances are it needs one.  They stretch which causes valver timimh issues, leading to high fuel consumption.

Fit an uprated roller chain/sproket set or duplex chain.
