dont mean to sound to thick, but why have you linked a Work light/ reversing light to the Brake lights???
eugene:
that what i was thinking every time he brakes blinds whoevers behind him. ive got a work light on left hand side that has seperate switch to turn on and of and also comes on when in reverse :D
Dr.Ed:
meant attached to reversing light not brake!
circuit diagram attached, A is a switch near the drivers position to select whether the work light comes on with the reversing light, B is a switch just inside the back door to turn the light on as needed, -ve connection was to the earth point above the rear light cluster, +ve to the 12S trailer electrics behind the right light cluster and the "reverse light" was connected to the feed to the left hand cluster reversing bulb. photo of light location also attached - excuse the sunk land rover.
hope this helps,
