our lab truffles has hurt his tail either trapping in a door or lying on his back giving the floor a shine  :huh:  took him to our vets this am and they gave him pain killers saying it should be ok but if not better in 10 days to take him back then they would xray it, it cost me just under £25

Your lucky it cost's us £21.90 just to walk through the door, and in the last 4 months we have paid £4500 on the two dogs, one was £3500 and not insured and the other we got most of the grand back on the insurance.

Same thing here, took mine to the vets when he cut his tail. 

Now £350 odd out of pocket!

been looking at pet insurance and at the moment Argos seems the best with unlimited ongoing illness, (thats how i read it) any body know or recommend any others?

I always use tesco.com for my pet insurance only £22 a month to cover 1 dog and 3 cats
