Like Boss said, think outside the box man!
It wont be so satisfying if you copy someone elses. I was stuck on one and I showed the missus, she said 'why don't you just build something that does......' So thats what I built, and it worked! Not quite so satisfying when your shown a solution that is simple, you get to a point where the contraption just won't work no matter how much time you spend building it and you have to give up and think of another way. Most can be solved using quite simple designs.
