paint codes

Hi All

This is my Discovery... :D



The problem I have is that the vin. plate on the slam panel shows nothing apart from the vin number .

It does not show the paint or trim codes and I want to get some silver paint to touch up some repairs .

Does anybody have an old Discovery in silver that they can get me the paint code off :D [-o<

It is metalic silver not flat grey ;)

Land Rover rarely put anthing in the paint code box on the vin plate - handy that - NOT! Send an email to a couple of local main dealers and quote your VIN Number and they should reply with the paint code. I just did it for mine, the first didnt bother to reply but the second did. Then got a rattlecan  mixed at local paint suppier.

zanzibar silver is the only silver in the list that is the right year  :-k

Might wait to see if theres anymore feed back from silver disco owners :lol:
