oh and on the wife's side her dad was one of the first technicians on the first seasons of top of the pops when it was filmed in manchester, he was in charge of the lights or something she told me.
thats about it really i think for now.

Ah, it wasnt glamorous, it involved standing in the sea at Redcar for hours dressed as an invading WW2 soldier!
