New rubber bits and a little extra

<< < (3/4) > >>

Disco Matt:
Just been looking at the Insa Turbo Saharas and was wondering if anyone can comment on their road manners and wear rates? Quite fancy some M/Ts on mine next time but I've never had remoulds before and just a bit worried about the scare stories.

Also, is the speed rating ok? I realise my Disco is not likely to hit 106mph but I understand that insurers can be stroppy if you fit tyres that are lower rated than the originals.

i had 35 k outa my last set, theyre ok on the road a tad loud but handle well and havent had any problems

Disco Matt:
35k is pretty good - was just thinking the price is half that of BFGs so if they last over half as long (and work as well) they're worth considering.

It's either them or Grabber AT2s, but I think I've done enough "training" on all terrains now and won't be relying on the tyres if I switch to M/Ts.

lurch_917:
in respect to the question of what rubber to wrap your wheels  ive been using insa speacial tracks now for about a year and a half no problems and insa is probably the best out there for remoulds they have a large following and a good off and on road manner
