Insa tyres

(1/2) > >>

Bush Tucker Man:
Despite having looked with great interest at the thread on General Grabber AT2's,
I'm  hopefully not  going to be in the market for a set of new tyres for the 110 for another 5-10,000 miles, based on present wear-rates

Presently it's on the (presumed original?) BF Goodrich AT's, and is showing circa 64,000 miles

I guess the most logical (long-lasting) solution when the time comes is to just get another set of BFG 'AT' fitted

However, the recent product by Insa, the 'Turbo Traction' takes my eye, as I always liked the 'Trac-Edge'

Obviously the wear-rate will be greater than a new tyre, but what's the consensus of opinion on Insa's??
Do they last?
Are they easy to balance, or do they need a pound of lead on the wheel-rim?
Not liable to the tread peeling off the carcass?

Now, if anyone's got a (potentially) libellous story about them, PM me, don't add it on here!!

bilge rat:

i have had the insa sahara's fitted on the last 3 of my trucks.....i have no complaints what so ever with them....i have had problems with other makes but not the insa's

AndyMacG:
Got insa's on my disco and cant fault them at all  even after last nights heavy braking in the torrential rain on the M6 when a dutch registered artic pulled into my lane with out indicating,  stopped nicely without any fuss   not like  a set of colways I had fitted in the past where they wouls have slid all over the shop
