A bit of booty shake
zulublue:
No not yet, funny thing is it seems to only happen under load, foot down get vibration (at around 30 - 50) take foot off the gas it reduces thus why I thought it may be a bearing.
Range Rover Blues:
I can understand that.
Here's a nasty thought, a misfire. Mine does it and one day I'll replace the valves .
There are other things that can cause it though, clutches and gearbox damage, bent handbrake drums etc. Handbrake not sticking is it?
Does it keep vibrating either side of a gearchange?
zulublue:
funny you mention the handbrake, the cable has been sticking on so I changed it last week it now looks like it may have been the shoes sticking on as after it had been standing for a few day's the handbrake seized on, I have released it now and think I am going to fit an X-Brake when I have some ££££
I wonder if Simon does MC discount [-o<
clbarclay:
Its usually not the shoes that stick in the dhand brake, more likely is the expander unit between the shoes. The land rover hand brake is nice and simple as drum brakes go and doesn't take long to clean up.
lurch_917:
sounds like youve got a number of sins adding up to one thing i would change you bushes and do your a frame as it is these that conect everything at the back end get wear in both and and replace one the othere still shakes and so on
