A bit of booty shake
zulublue:
I have a vibration coming from what feels the rear of my 90TC it does get worse with speed but very little vibration through the steering wheel, the wheels have been balanced as far as they can be with MT's on and the UJ's were done 500 miles ago. I have noticed the bushes on the A frame have gone and there is about 1mm play on the bearing which goes into the rear diff from the prop shaft.
Could either of these cause the vibration or would the bushes just cause the rear to wander, and how easy is it to swap the bearing that goes in to the diff?
Cheers
Mark.
Range Rover Blues:
Easier to change the diff, you might also have bent the prop by now. Try dropping the rear prop and drive without it.

I have just done my A frame bushes on my discovery as i had some kicking around and was hard up for something to do for a couple of hours, two days later the job was complete and half of the essex countryside was removed from around that area lol but mate what a difference it made it amazing what you get used to over time.My problem was simalar to yours only not as bad sometimes you could feel a wander/shake sometimes not,i suppose it could have been something to do with road surface or camber or both but its gone now and hasnt returned.if the bushes have gone as you say they need to be replaced and are only cheap, hope this helps you mate.

Then it's not the diff. Tried the same at the front yet?
