Well after 20 years of LRs I got a Landcruiser 80 series. Cheeper than haveing lockers fitted to me 110. The only problem I have now is I have no use for my spanners and scokets

same here, but mines a jeep,i got fed up of fixing stuff everytime i went anywhere,I suppose the newer landies are a lot better but unless youve got ££££,s everybody has to buy reasonably old motors and that is where the problems start so I bought the newest i could afford and therefore it doesnt break as often,If i wanted to have a motor that i could thrash all day long at pay and plays id buy a zook or an old daihatsu and pull it to events on a trailer on the back of my jeep but for laning you cant beat leather seats and air-con when you are doin a full days laning, when i did that with the 90 i felt like id done 10 rounds with mike tyson it was so uncomfortable

I love my 110 to bits and yes it's noisy and hot in the summer and cold in the winter, did i mention it leaks like a tea bag.
But i love driving it.
My dad has brought a new L200 and had to have a new gear box fitted 3 months in to ownership. Then the new gearbox started leaking oil on his drive.
He's just got it back from the dealships paint shop coz the bottom of both front doors started to rust.
Defenders are over priced but if looked after they hold on to that price.
