suzuki sj swift 1.3 gti conversion

hi there im still thinking of doing a suzuki swift gti engine to my sj! can any1 tell me if i can change efi to a carb or 2 carbs? as ireally dont like inection as you have to have ecus and that... would it be as powerful as wwhat it was with the efi? thanks lee :lol:
