confused help needed

hi guys ive got a 1996 v8 discovery automatic. and the automatic gearbox cooler radiator has sprung a leak. so i got a second hand 1 off a friend not sure if its from a range rover 3.9 or a discovery 3.9 but wont screw the pipes back on yet the treads are fine. the only thing i could think of is are the nuts a slightly different size ??????????

could it be off a pre 94 (200) as they are imperial and the later 94on is metric. just a thought!!

mobi your spot on, i was baffled when i was trying to fit it for well over an hour, why didnt land rover tell me that incase, lol

bloody jeeps i got a second hand 1 today he said it was the right 1 and its wrong again,
