Air con pump removal
stevo123:
Hi all ,
ive recently perchased a classic RR 3.9 efi, and was just wondering if it would be a big job to remove the air con pump, and all of its components.
Has any body done this, any advice would be helpfull , cos this is my first rangie

Why? If it's just to stop using it then you can just turn it off or to really do it take the belt off.
If it's for maintenance then you need to degas the system first; that is by somebody who can vac it out.

Nice one i totaly forgot about gas , but im happy to get that done, i want it out mostly for maintainance and its one less thing to go wronge.
i intend to use my rangie mostly for laneing as my work provide me with a car.

Remember you could keep it to run an onboard air system!!
