Many thanks for advice

200Tdi's weren't fitted with EGR as standard and I can't see any evidence of the pipework/valve/etc in your picture so I don't think you've got it :-)

Rocker breather line thats the name of it! couldnt think what its called! yeh i know its not an EGR but it is kinda similar-Kind of.
i would run with it connected but im using a 300tdi  filter box and itd be easier to lose it!
i agree i dont wanna block it off due to pressurizing sump so can i just have it directed to the ground? or is that illegal?
Many thanks for advice guys!

you can go in to your local halfrauds and get a engine breather filter, looks similar to a K&N air filter which will do the trick

is a mini K&N style filter the answer then? with oily gases going through surely itl just get gunged up? or is that the idea and i just keep cleaning it regularly!?
also if i did fit one itl be vulnerable when wading, as it doesn't push out enough gas to keep water out,,,?

biggerlandy:
keep it as then you wont get any probs
