kinky vicar:
I had gone sbout 2 miles when my 300 tdi kangarood and stopped. It turns over but no sign of firing. Yes i have fuel in it. Could it be the stop solanoid? If it was the fuel pump would it not cough and splutter instead of just stopping?  ](*,)

hobbit:
Could be a number of things including cam belt & fuel filter blockage, have you cracked one of the injector pipes off and turned the engine over to see if the fuel is reaching the injectors?

kinky vicar:
not yet just about to do it will let you know what happens :-k

kinky vicar:
Good news i have fixed it .It was the wire had come off the stop solaniod. Thanks for your help

There's nothing quite like the feeling when something that could have been expensive turns out to be dead simple, is there?
