I have seen simular to this and the noise is more like a fridge running just a purr think there is a clunk when it starts and stops but that all.

Done a bit more reseach and the 'silenced' ones tend to run around 60dB at 4 metres which is pretty good. It seems the Clarke one is around 40dB  :shock: That's seriously quiet as you suggest. I'll let you know once we have it installed.
