...and that's what I normally cruise at in my 2A without my overdrive to help with economy!  :|

Henry, from a professional driver to another: Chill, man!!!!

And Crazymac is perfectly right. As long as you are maintaining a regular speed (and that speed is well below the limit), it is not considered as undertaking, simply keeping up with the traffic.

I under stand you drivers in your big lorries driver all over the place but sitting behind some one flashing your lights and blowing you horn is intimidation in a big lorry so you deserve all the abuse you got.

The only thing with doing that barry make sure the truck is on his own and not have someone following him as them they both will block you in and slow right down trust me when I was with mlt in mildenhall we had this donkey in a bmw doing just that so we blocked him in for 20 miles

Dissapointing attitudes there chaps ... no care for your safety and of those around you.

as yet another professional driver I have to agree with your second statement, and as mentioned Henry should've just carried on tavelling at his constant speed in the inside (not slow) lane and let the numpty look after himself.

unfortunately can't agree with your first statement, it's complete pi**ocks doing this kind of thing on the roads that can and does lead to accidents in which people actually die, again unfortunately, it's more often than not some poor innocent s*d who had nothing whatsoever to do with the original incident.

Middle lane hogs really do my head in... there is a simple formula...

I'm getting closer to the guy in front = Move out a lane
I'm getting further away from the guy in front = Move in a lane
I'm staying the same distance from the guy in front = Move in a lane

For me it's another symptom of the limited learning we give new drivers in this country. Imagine for a minute... training a prospective brain surgeon to operate on a knee... then signing his chitty and leaving him to it!

We should see learners on our motorways so that they can experience the problems and practice the good behaviours.
