Anyone heard of
666:
Not heard of that name for a while!
Used them a lot nearly 20 years ago along with snail brand while i was steel erecting! They made a lot of big adjustables and podgers (rat tailed spanners) for use in steel erecting as well as the normal comercial market ;)
Cheers
Mark
Tommo:
there used to be some right names about at one time. anyone remember lobster?
lee celtic:
I have some king dick spanners I got from a car boot .
They are good quality and the older ones are the best of the bunch.
Last car boot I got a set of real MOLE grips for a quid :D
and two snapon spanners with worn rings for 50p swaped them for new ones with the snapon in a van man while round at the local garage
My prefered weapon of choice is TENG
beast5680:
older spanners were top quality made of decent steel think i,ve got a couple somewhere
Disco Matt:
I have a small set of brilliant ratchet spanners from Aldi (of all places). They're weird - only five or six of them, but if they're a size you need they're superbly comfortable to work with, and the ratchet mechanisms are good too. I don't tend to buy expensive kit, mainly as for what I do with it the cheap stuff is fine. I might well start replacing with better stuff when things break or wear out though - still need to get a breaker bar.
