Uneven running 300 tdi - am i bonkers

Hello

i have a 300 TDI and sometimes i think it appears to run/idle very poorly.  Then Same day, start it 10 Mins or 6 hours later and it seems to run so sweet, But i can start it 10 Mins or ^ hours later and it still runs rough.  Never seems to run well i feel until it has been run for 20 - 30 mins.

I do wonder if it is me and my mood and expectations.... :evil:

Is it me just being slightly bonkers

does it feel sluggish from cold? could be injectors need replacing..

if you`ve run veg oil, this may also point to injectors, the 300`s arent too keen on saving the planet :lol:

Yes can be very sluggish, how much is involved, any ideas?

as far as i am aware the hardest part is removing the injectors... sure i`ve heard reference on here to slackening them off, then trning over the engine to liberate then! ....luckily its something i`ve not had any experience with yet!
