With my rover 620 I always getting warping on new discs. even got the garage to replace one set as they warped so badly and yes, they warped too. I have just come to accept that it is a feature of the car!!

As said above. Holding it on the footbrake doesnt help, but then again I think if you apply the hand break the same will happen to the rear discs? Obviously this wouldn't happen on a disco due to the way the handbreak works!

Ja1983:
front brakes take most stress (weight goes to front of vehicle under hard braking) thus are effected more than rear..

may not be a warped disc, blems on tyres or missing weights can also give a judder, although it is more commonly noticed on acceleration..
also check shockers and bushes, tracking, and suspension in general. could also be grease on a disc.. resulting in a section of braking surface having more bite than another.. although does burn off eventually

my friend has just had to replace all the disc,s on his pajero as they over heated on the drive over to bulgaria he was towing a caravan and had to do a emergency stop on the autobarn then had bad brake judder afterwards

Angus06:
Hi.
Try removing the discs and clean the backside matning face and clean the hub as well. If you do put copper grease on these areas use very little and apply it evenly.
Remember the Ford Sierra's of the 80 and 90's. They all had a reputation of warping discs. Actually most of these never had warped disc's only disc's installed on top of dirt and huge amounts of copper grease.
