do brake disc bend get warped

hi as subject says it seems as though my front disc is either bent or warped just wondering if this does happen.it is still in good thick condition.    thanx jo

yes they do warp whe they get hot

As said yes they do, if when you are slowing down in slow moving traffic you should feel your brake pedal move ''up & down'' slightly when you are applying light pressure on the pedal,

Usually caused after braking getting the discs hot, then standing stationary holding the truck on the footbrake, the disc cools down but not the bit sandwiched between the disc pads then, as the discs cool unevenly, warping can occur.

Q/ are you getting any knoking under breaking as i have had a calliperwear where the pads slot in giving lumpy breaking  these normaly knock slightly when this happens
A/ if this is the case a thin line of weld on the sholder of the pad then ground down is a quick fix or a new calliper
