(1/2) > >>

philbert:
hi all
have 2 sets of modular wheels 1 set is marked 7j x 16  the other 7k x 16
what is the difference does anyone know?

cheers
philbert

V8MoneyPit:
I believe the 'j' and 'k' refer to the bead seating style and the well style. In other words, the cross sectional profile of the rim.

philbert:
after running over them with a tape measure it would appear they have different offsets!

That's something else. The letters are purely the profile of the rim.

But with different offsets, you will only be able to use them as matched pairs on each axle.

G30RGE:
The letter is definitely teh 'bead profile'
