CD Changer problem

Whilst driving my CD started skipping, so I whipped out the CD caddy to give to my Mrs, she cleaned the CD and I put it back in (whilst on the move :oops:)
the stereo displayed CD CHECK, then it came up NO DISC.
I pulled the fuses when we stopped but the stereo still worked!!! :shock:  According to the book and flap on the fuse box I took out the correct fuses.

Does anyone know if there is a master reset button anywhere on the changer??  Or how I can fix it!!!

Its a disco 2000 Td5 ES with a 6 disc changer under the drivers seat.
