Disco 1 V8 i wont start. HELP!!

I have already posted this in the LR newsgroup, maybe you lot can help. :D  I have got a 97 Discovery V8i that wont start,its a HT problem(no spark from coil), I ve tried a new ign amp, a new coil, new HT leads.
After renewing the ign amp, the engine ran for 5 secs and then cut out and wouldn´t start again, tried another ign amp and renewed the coil, same thing, engine ran for 5-10 secs and cut out. Its getting a bit expensive to replace the ign amp everytime. Anyone got any ideas???
