will a 300tdi disco 100amp alternator fit onto a defender 200tdi engine?

wont the 300tdi be multi v belt as the 200tdi is single v belt

i put a lucas 120amp on my 200tdi of a scropio, it will squeek if its loaded up to the 9s but not very often, I also ran a heavey cable back to the battery as its man use is winching.

200tdi and 300tdi alternators are interchangable ;)

yer it will fit, but you need to swap pullys over to the v belt and make a spacer up so that it runs in line
i got two for yella
belt wise, if you use gates there normally isnt a issue, or if you got a local belt place, go to them and ask for a thicker guage belt Z's afink they are  :-.
