Hi Lift Jack

Lugslandrovers:
Hi
any ideas.
Whats the cheapest way of fitting jacking points for using a Hi-Lift on a Disco.
Don't want to change the bumpers etc. Is there an adaptor or mounting kits to fit onto the existing bumpers??
On the rear could i use the Tow bar??
On the the front could i use the recovery eyes.??

Hi see the for sale section on here as somebody is selling just what you need.
recovery points with high lift sockets.

Lugslandrovers:
Thanks
Don't look as though they will fit a Disco s1  but i have emailed the seller.
Anyone any comments on using the towbar with a Hi-lift to raise the rear??

I've seen a few hi lift jacking joints which bolt onto the towing plate, usually sandedged using the towball bolts. This is the scorpion version, but there are others as well.

I wouldn't recoment jacking of a standard rear tow bar, you can (needs must when the devil drives) but my experiance is its about as safe as northern rocks business plan.

Great idea will trawl the web for others as well
Thanks
Len
