Jumps out of low ratio

<< < (2/2)

V8MoneyPit:
On my old LT95 it was a worn intermediate shaft and bearings that caused this. Replacement solved the problem.

Shabba277:
found out today that if i put my right foot on the clutch and force the low ratio in with my left foot it stays in ok, thank for the replys so far!

Sounds like a worn selector fork or similar. Has it been a gradual increase in the problem, or suddenly started happening?

Shabba277:
first time its been in low for me, i have not had it long and i don't know if the previous keeper had problems or not . maybe its just lack of use? is the selector fork the bit bolted to the top of the box, that the arm pins to, or is it internal?
