You might not need an aerial upgrade - if you think about it the people telling you that you will are usually those selling aerials!

A digibox is under £20 now, might be worth borrowing one from a friend to see if your aerial is up to it first.

What I object to is the fact that those of us who don't get any of the digital services are still charged the full TV Licence tax fee. Why should I be forced to pay for services I'm not getting?

When the wife left me last year she took the sky plus box with her and the HD telly too...!!!! which only left me the roof aerial and an old CRT telly. I could only really watch BBC1 and occasionally BBC2 but all the others were just a snowy white mess...lol

I've now got a decent HD Telly with a built in digital tuner and cant get anything at all. Hence why I have free sat.
