defender canvas roof windscreen rail

just unpacked my new roof and sticks  :clap:
started to fit them up and found there is no instructions for fitting the windscreen rail!
has anyone fitted a canvas roof before to a 90?
can you tell me the correct way to install the rail?
it has holes thru it but they dont line up with the holes in the windscreen top.
should i drill them thru or have i the wrong rail?

help please its started raining and i have no roof :'(

i done the same conversion myself today, ive pm'ed you my number if you need some advice.
