Buying advice please..

Range Rover Blues:
I definitely agree with that advice about trying one before you spend time hunting for one.  I've spoken to a couple of people like you who really fancied bucking the trend and bought a wrangler only to find out it's not as good an all-rounder as the LR they were used to.  Especially towing, which I found odd given the short rear overhang should make it ideal :-k.

Anyway, I'm not going to come on the Jeep forum and trash them, they sell enough so they must be doing something right, just don't rush into it and if someone offers you the chance to try one, snatch their hand off.
