r 20 terrano micro switch behind door panel???help

hi ive got my door panel off to see why my remote central locking wont work and near the lock theres a micro switch that isnt connected to anything
when i press it it locks the doors and i cannot get out , where should this switch clip onto
ill leave my panel off till i know , thanks
