Alternative wheels for the 110
Jimbo:
I've got a long road trip coming up this summer (Scotland for two weeks, so 1000 miles +), and with no real need for mud tyres whilst I'm in Scotland, I'm thinking about getting another set of wheels with road tyres (or maybe AT's) off eBlag.
Will any LR fitment wheel fit a Defender (discs all round) - I've got a nagging thought in my mind that due to the weight of the 110, you can't fit P38 alloys for example ?

I may well be - if they'll fit............I'm sure they will physically fit, just not sure about the weight loading etc.
Have they got tyres on, what size ?

From an MOT point of view, you do have to watch the load rating on the wheels you use on a 110 but, practically I'm not sure how much difference it makes?
The wheels you can use PCD wise (the distance between the nut holes incase you don't know) are defender, Discovery 200 and 300 TDi's and classic Range Rovers but NOT P38, "new" Range Rover or series 2 discovery's.
I also have three sets of alloys all with no tyres, tow RR 3 spoke and 1 Discovery 5 spoke. (All sets of 5)
I usually sell for £30 a corner plus carraige, I use http://www.directcouriersolutions.co.uk/ to get them to people

They come off a range rover which i would think about the same as a 110. I have pirelli scorpions on them at the moment, 2 with 6mm, 1 with 4mm 1 just on the limit, but i have 3 goodyears in the garden, I can allways come over to you i'm only in Harlow, i'm looking for the same £120 the lot. Graham
