Yep my other niva i had suffered with rust issue's big problems there..

This one isnt all that bad really thankgod

Ive actually got the steel to do the bumpers,which will include recovery eyes and hilift jack points set as far back to the front valance as possible..

The first one I bought for £70  :D

Turned out it was only the paint holding it together :roll:

However it did start after new fuel and a battery , then I discovered it had a twin choke webber fitted . :twisted:

When fitted to the newer one it went like stink (but didn't pass the mot ) so I swaped to the standard item for mot day ;)

ended stripping the rusty one for parts and giving most away to the new owner and a guy down the road who needed a rear diff...

there is a fair bit of lada wire in the disco now as I used some of the conectors and cable for lights and stuff (can't be as bad as landy wires)

Jescus £70 thats my kind of price i payed £190 for a knackered one to strip for parts,I did make alot back from it though selling a few bits..

Lada wiring my blue one suffred from very bad connections,lights coming on when no one was in it :lol:

Apprantley the 1.6 does go very well with a twin webber fitted and a straight through ehaust
