I have a complete exhaust system from my rover inc cat I took off to mend it as it seemed easier to buy a new cat than to faf with the old rusted bolts.
anyideas where one finds a local scrap metal place. is a car scrap yard such a place? I have a collection building up now and I would like me to pocket the dosh and not some thieving monkey!

If you turn up with several cats you should be regarded as a commercial operator and asked for proof of ID. Legitimate garages will have no trouble with their local scrappy, meanwhile the theiving gits will rapidly find that they can't get rid of their stolen goods.

I know plenty of taxi garages that would buy cats off you if they did that!
