hello all what are the views out ther on  truetrac     detroit lockers  arb etc i fancy the detroit ones as they dont have pipes etc liable to be pulled and its put in and forget so to speak

extreme90:
fit a arb
the " fit and forgets " are aload of french words
the arbs are way better offroad, it keeps your normal offroad style there, then when you need it, you axle is locked, then when not needed its unlocked
not perminantly locked like the detroit, which is a royal PITA some times, ok
all the time

pipes snagging......thats a load of dog droppings, not had any issues in over 2 years
dan

biggerlandy:
thanks for advice but main reason i am looking at detroit stuff is money for a little bit more of 1 arb diff unit alone i can get both units in detroit

extreme90:
you cannot fit a detroit locker in the front axle
only a limited slip diff

i reeally would save your pennys abit and just fit a rear arb
you dont need a front one, they aint needed really, the rears are more useful than fronts

biggerlandy:
i was thinking about a truetrac in front but seeing as you think just a back one would be ok hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
