right people need some help asap am meant to be going out in my Sammy tomorrow has bin working fine all the time i had her had to weld the exhaust so took the battery off now she will turn over but no spark she is a 1.3 injection on a n reg i have try ed every thing and nothing full pump is working but no spark any ideas

When you say no spark have you tested it at plugs or have you tested it at the HT lead from the coil?

Just thinking......Does it have a CD or an ignition amp rather than a coil? Could be that the MIG welding has 'fried' that.

Best bet (in the future) is to get a surge/spike suppressor that you can connect across the battery. I have a Snap-On one and it's fool proof.
