--- Quote from: Paul on May 31, 2008, 01:10:03 ---Speaking from experience I'd get the lights as far back as you can, All my roof lights do at present is light the bonnet and dash up... turn them off and I can see where I'm going..
On my last motor, (disco TD5) I had them on the roof rack well behind the top of the screen, Output was good and no reflection from them.. IMHO if there not behind the top of the screen they will be of no benefit to you ;)

I have mine mounted above my light bar. With the brackets they are reasonably high up and I don't get too much of a problem with glare (although faded red paintwork that is more Pink than red may help with this!).
Keeping them adjusted right when tangling with foliage is the main issue. I did think about making supporting brackets to bolt between the light and the roof rack but I figured maybe this might result in broken spotlights when there is no give in them.
Chris Putt:
Painting the bonnet matt black might reduce glare slightly........
