Did a little bit more this afternoon

Steering box fitted, new drop arm ball joint fitted, panhard rod on, pas pump fitted

Steering guard fitted, very bling

Intersting thing i found when trying to fit the diff lock pivot, no m8 drilling in gearbox casing, quick drill and tap job done, im guessing this recon used an old ldv or sherpa casing, seeing as there the same box and landrover, not to worry works fine now,

Should get the body on in the morning,

chassis swap now complete  pictures up hopefully tonight. if i can use this thread to say a big thanks to mrm services for the rebuild. mick and his team really do excel when it comes to 4x4 vehicles.  the knowledge and attention to detail was superb.even down to proper pipe and wire  clips on chassis if it was meant to be there he,s not happy till its there. he never even threw me out when i kept  turning up with extra stuff i kept buying.( i work for myself and theres nothing worse than customers saying why your there ) it,s like it has just left solihull :clap:and all within a budget that i had. once again many thanks mick and know doubt see you around
