Yorkshire Dales places to go/drive

Hi All
I am planning a 10 day stay at Ingleton on the edge of the yorkshire dales in Nearest big place looks like kirkby lonsdale...
Any recomendations on places to visit for the family and are there any regional meets around I could pop in on ...
never been there before so interested in replies from locals...

Erm, you will not be far from deepdale offroad, but Im not 100% if they are still open, im sure you could google them. Hawes is a nice little town plus there is a great road called Cam High Road but they closed some of it off. There is also a few great lanes round there from Middleton to Lofthouse. LRO drove it a few months back.

I'm taking the family and the dog and won't be laning or off roading as I have to tow the caravan back (Maybe a little easy non damaging laning) just after places to visit and stuff .
I've tried googleing the local area but thats just bringing up the same stuff over and over again . Local info is better than payed links ;)

Try the white scar caves and the warerfall walk in settle theres also a falconry centre near settle and malham cove is worth a visit

Yeah they are good, but not if your chlostrophobic.
Also, it may be quite a drive but go to Forbidden Corner if you have kids, as the kids are an excuse for the adults to go, weve been 3 times now and love it!!!
