It can be done with either a lift, camel cut or both. I DIDNT have a lift but DID do a camel cut.

go for 245/76 r16.. they look good, are almost as tall as a 235/85 but only require a mild camel cut with standard suspension..
have just fitted a set to my 300Tdi, and only had to do a mild camel trim...

Hi.
You could ask your tyre supplier to show you a 31x10x15. I've just fitted a set to my 300 and they look grrrreat. You have to do a camel cut which wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. The steering stops didn't need adjusting, and the spare fits on the standard LR alloy rear door mounting.
