You say that, but the AWDC used to have a thriving, if small, 'Heavy Vehicle' Section. They'd do trials events around the country. My former stable-mate had a Tatra 813 8x8 he competed in. Then a he got a Stolly. Then the funds dried up!  :doh:

There was a European Round of the Truck Trials held at Slab Common a few years ago (a mate of mine got a 3rd in class with his works Mog). If it happened once maybe, just maybe, it could happen again.

How cool would that be?  :cool:

I can understand how the funds would dry up, I hate to think what it would cost to run one of these competitively, but if "it could happen again" I'd be first in the queue for tickets, those Tatra 8 x 8's look to be one capable piece of kit
