Oh, another bit of info.  The 3.5 Litre is generally more effecient than the standard 2.25 Litre in the Series motors.  On a run you can quite easily get 20-25mpg whereas the 2.25 would be struggling for 20 under the same conditions.

got to the station grease monkeys all over the old gal proper landy fans one even offered to buy it which i stupidly replied no i wanna mot and use it.

tester drives in it............ shakes his head
tester drivers it out

fuel is leaking allllllllllllllllllllllllllll over the place from the rear of the left tank  

so im now home and sulking no actualy ranting about the parent hood of said landrover


maybe it's just me Keith but I think there may just be a connection between this and your poor fuel consumption :lol: :lol: :lol:
