There'll be a set place for it in some AESP or other, but most have it anywhere it'll fit on the door - best place is to start under the door lock at a couple of inches in then just make a rectangle or square and off you go.  Not seen many marked up for lifting recently, but then I'm with a Log Bde these days  so we don't tend to fly much.
