Oh yes I agree, can also cut the power from the grill mounted isolator  ;)

I take it then that is just a big old hefty relay. All you do is feed a live to a switch off the relay and an earth for the switch and the relay.

Seems simple enough.

Might invest in one of those.

Yep, all you need to do is break the main feed to the winch via the large lugs on the relay, then have an earth on the small spade connector and a switched 12+ on the other to arm and cut the feed..
