Here's how it sits from out point of view. We've pulled blatantly commercial posts in the past, and we see no reason to stop doing so. Forums are great for spreading technical advice etc, but if someones business is blatantly going to benefit from their own posts, then I think we'd probably deserve a share of the profits.
Advice being given we can handle, but blatant product plugs is a step too far, I'm afraid.

I for one was greatful for his advice and will be tacking my custome to him but I did do my own research and found the advice he had given was good sound advice. Uuh, not wishing to be rude, but if you check the status above my avatar you'll see why I won't be turing over. ;)
I'm glad your question got sorted (I quite trust Pornys work, myself), but the Club has a viewpoint whether folk like it or not, and it's my role here to ensure things run kinda tickityboo from a club standpoint.
Apologies if you find that disagreeable, but such is life. ;)
