30 amps, so that'll be a 360 watt fan then.  If it were a hairdryer, it'd be underpowered.  So I'm sure it'll make a huge difference to a diesel air intake.

On the bright side, if you rev the engine, I'd imagine it would act as a little wind turbine, and top up your battery a bit.
